Finally catching up with this season of Mad Men while enjoying some $10.00 Cajun Rock Shrimp & Calamari from Blue Bayou Bar and Grill.  Those remoulade drizzled beauties go perfect with a little Hamm.

Best part of having a food show?  Getting free food from the restaurants we review!  Thank you Sal's Deli for being so awesome.

Taste of Chicago is coming soon!  It's a fantastic culinary festival here in The Windy City, and Drive-Through Food Review is excited to see what amazing Food Restaurants will be represented.
I just found a really cool site that documents The Evolution of Food on Television.

I love video games, so 10 Salivating Videogame Foods Brought to Life was a hilarious way to start my day.

I did a Google Image search for "Awesome Food" and I got this.  I'm not sure if I should laugh or call Child Protective Services.

Check out this awesome Gluten Free shop called Cassava.  They have amazing GF rolls!

Drive-Through Food Review: Episode 2

In the middle of editing our next episode!  What is with my face?

My family is coming to Chicago soon for a visit.  Now, both my mom and my little sister have celiac desease.  This means that neither of them can eat Gluten.  So I'm planning to do a Gluten Free Drive Through Food Review when they're here in May.  If you know of any good GF places here in Chicago, please leave a comment below and let me know.

Check out this amazing artist, Stewart Kim.  I have an obsession with celebrity chef Grodan Ramsay and Kim truly captures his amazing presence.  Make sure to check out Kim's web site at this Link to see the evolution of this amazing work of art.

Game of Thrones and a Hot Dog

Being a busy guy, I'm just now getting around to watching the season 2 premir of Game of Thrones.  I absolutely love this show.  It's one of the best programs on television right now, and stands as proof that the best storytelling is moving from film to television.  So I decided to partner the viewing of this amazing show with an amazing meal from Byron's.  I haven't found a better hot dog in this city.  If you want a fully loaded Chicago dog then make your way to 1017 W. Irving Park Road.  With tax, the dog and fries only cost me $6.77.  And check out this season of the epic that is Game of Thrones.

One of my own dishes.  A medici sauce over gluten free penne with grilled chicken and sautéed broccoli. I give it a 10 out of 10, but I'm hardly an unbiased reviewer.

Want to make this dish at home?  Like our Facebook Page and we will send you the recipe.

Check out this awesome site that breaks down restaurants in Chicago by neighborhood and cuisine type.  It also keeps an archive of articles about dining in town.  The site is aptly named Chicago's Best Restaurants.  Take a look HERE.
